WELCOME Roc Danse de salon (an association as defined by law 1901) was created in 2001 at the instigation of a group of dance enthusiasts. Jean-Marc is our teacher. He gives classes every Friday night, catering for all levels and abilities: beginners, intermediates, advanced. These classes take place in the centre of Rochechouart, in a purpose-built dance hall made available to the association by the commune. The idea is to learn to dance in a relaxed, friendly environment and above all to enjoy dancing. The association expanded in 2002 when Jean-Marc introduced classes on Saturday mornings for children and young people from the age of 8. With more than 100 members, 30 of whom are in the junior classes, Roc Danse is a thriving association. In addition to the dance classes, the association participates in a number of events (including the Telethon and dinner dances) and offers its members activities such as dance evenings, trips, shows and an end of year dinner. The members of the association are delighted to welcome you to our site and wish you an enjoyable visit. You have the option to pay en tree stages if you prefer. The fees enable the association to subsidise various activities for members, eg courses, the annual trip, and the end of year dinner. Various businesses also support the association. A medical certificate should be attached to your membership form. The association’s insurance cover requires this. |
